Traveling in France
France is one of the most sought out travel destinations in the world, and I’ve been lucky to have visited twice. The first time I came to France I was in my early 20’s and an active duty Marine. US-French relations were at an all time low and while people were still nice, a few certainly didn’t welcome our presence, I can say that revisiting over 10 years later, it was a completely different experience and it’s amazing how culture, people, and sentiments can change so quickly! I’ve visited Marseille once, and Paris twice. My next trip to France, I’d love to focus on their World War II history, and perhaps climb Mt. Blanc.

Not many people need an explanation on why to go to Paris. The city has long been considered the most romantic destination in the world, and with the world’s best wine and cuisine, surrounded by an amazing city who could argue? There are an endless things to do in Paris, but regardless of what kind of traveler you are, most start at the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum.
