Lhasa is the capital of Tibet, and the cultural capital of the Tibetan people. One of the most beautiful palaces in the world and the traditional home of the Dai Lamas is located in the heart of the city. In addition to the Potala Palace, Johkang temple and other locations that are the most sacred exist within Lhasa.

Mt Everest

Mt. Everest is the highest mountain in the world and is located on the border of Nepal and Tibet. Many choose to do the more popular Everest Base Camp trek from Nepal although the Tibet side gives an actual view of the mountain. I climbed Mt. Everest from both countries and have photographed both routes.
