Traveling in Germany
Munich is the capital of Bavaria located at the southeastern border of the country. Munich is the self-declared beer capital of the world, drawing in millions who come for the famous Oktoberfest celebration each fall. Munich is one of Europe’s most modern and beautiful cities, with some popular places to visit such as Marienplatz, English Gardens, Olympic Park, and more.
Historically, Cologne is known for once being the biggest city in the Holy Roman Empire. In modern times the city is now the fourth largest in Germany, but arguably the most beautiful.
The Nueschwanstein Castle is without question one of the most beautiful castles in the world. The story behind how and why the King of Bavaria built the castle which ultimately led to his death makes a visit here even more exciting. The castle is built up in the mountains with some beautiful hiking trails and viewpoints of the rivers and mountains, and of course the castle itself.
