Czechia is famous for its beautiful cities, historic architecture, great food, and world-class beer. It’s also a relatively easy country to explore, with compact cities, excellent public transportation, and plenty of medieval towns, castles, and countryside between the major destinations.
Since my company’s training department was moved to Brno, Czechia became a place I expected to visit regularly. So far I’ve spent time in Brno and Prague, but on future trips I’d like to keep exploring new parts of the country.
Explore Prague
Prague has become one of Europe’s most popular destinations, and it’s easy to see why. Medieval streets, Gothic churches, historic bridges, castles, and colorful architecture fill much of the city center, making Prague one of the most visually impressive cities I’ve visited in Europe.
Explore Brno
Brno is Czechia’s second-largest city and an important center for technology and industry, but it also has plenty to offer travelers. Its historic center is filled with medieval architecture, underground passages, churches, museums, and one of Europe’s largest ossuaries.
