The country of Guam was taken by Japanese in world war 2. During the war Americans captured it from the Japanese and it remains a US territory today. Guam is often compared to Hawaii and even though it's not as populated as Hawaii, it does have its big buildings and resorts. When I was in Guam I saw many Japanese coming here to get married. The first picture is of a marriage that didn't work out. Supposedly along time ago two people were in love but forced to marry someone else so they jumped off that cliff right there, and it's now called Two Lovers Point. On the right is one of the resorts in Guam, you can see the swimming pools and there are also some fire dancers giving a show.
The first time I ever went snorkeling was in Guam. I didn't think it would be too exciting but I once I tried it I couldn't get enough of it. Snorkeling here you'll see a lot of tropical fish, the ones that you're usually used to seeing only in pet stores.
The lagoon on the left is said to have sunken ships from world war 2 that used to be visible above the surface. On the right is a fighting hole where a Japanese guy lived for 28 years not knowing the war was over. Maybe I'm crazy, but if I didn't see any action after a few years I'd consider the war might be over, especially after a few decades.
Below is one of the beaches in Guam where you can go snorkeling. Directly behind me were many luxury hotels. On the right is Tolofofo falls which isn't too far from where the Japanese guy dug out his home that he used for 28 years.
