Eastern Asia is also sometimes known as the Orient, and so I decided to include Mongolia, China, Taiwan, North and South Korea and
Japan into eastern Asia. Taiwan is considered to be part of China, but as they have their own language and culture, are not controlled by
China, and have been recognized as independent by many nations around the world I too consider it another country. Countries in east Asia
are known for being extremely safe, their technology advances, and their ancient history. In eastern Asia I've only been to South Korea and
Japan but have done a combined total of almost 10 trips to both. China is such a major travel destination that the only reason I haven't gone
is because I feel I need to have lots of time to see a huge country. No idea when that trip will happen though!
