Costa Rica - Poas Volcano
Costa Rica
On the left is a volcano called Poas. As you can see it is smoking and also has a very bluish liquid in its crater.
Sometimes this lake evaporates but it is usually present. The lake is acidic and hot, with its temperature usually
between 40 to 50C. On the right is a picture of Costa Rica's Turtle Island. To visit it you have to reach it by boat,
but once there you can enjoy a variety of activities such as snorkeling, swimming, kayanking and more.
Costa Rica, my very first country! I went here at the age of 16 with a disposable camera and stayed with my old neighbors who had
invited me to visit. Costa Rica was a great experience for me, seeing tropical beaches, waterfalls and volcanoes for the first time was
amazing. I have always loved the outdoors so something I looked forward to the most in Costa Rica was visiting the rainforests. On the
left is a picture of the tropical plants throughout Costa Rica. On the right is a picture taken of a Toucan in Costa Rica's most famous
rainforest. I saw several other animals in here including poisonous snakes such as vipers.

Costa Rica - Waterfall
In Costa Rica's mountainous rainforests there are several waterfalls. The waterfall seen on the left that is in the
distance was one that I was just passing by. The waterfall on the right is a popular one called Los Chorros.
