Arizona - Grand Canyons
Arizona - Grand Canyons
While I was in the Marines, I spent several months of training in the state of Arizona, mostly on the southwestern part of the state. I've
been to Arizona probably 5 times, but not since I left the military. The only photos I have so far are of the Grand Canyon's and Phoenix.
I'm not sure when I'll return to the state, but there is a lot more I'd like to see, and this time I'll be sure to bring back photos.
These pictures above are  from Arizona's grand canyons, the largest canyons in the world. You can see the water
flowing through the middle of the left picture. On the right is a view looking straight into the canyon from a cliff. The
canyons have lots of outdoor activites including a trail that begins from the rim and descends down into the canyon
that usually requires several days of hiking.

Arizona - Phoenix
Arizona is famous for its deserts and the grand canyons.
The city on the left is Arizona's capital of Phoenix which
is considered to be the United State's hottest city.
Typically the summer time temperatures are over 110
degrees Fahrenheit or close to 50 Celsius. Only a few
countries such as Saudi Arabia or Libya can compete
with hotter cities, and even then they aren't that much
worse than Phoenix. Despite being such a hot city, it
has a very large population of a few million and is
actually the 5th largest in the country.
